Metodology> The questionnaire on accessible transport

STRUCTURE OF THE QUESTIONNAIRE

The questionnaire is the tool for gathering information allowing passengers with disabilities to evaluate if a certain form of transport suits their needs.
We have created 29 survey forms, each one analysing a specific aspect of the service considered or of the infrastructure.
For each form of transport, the surveyor must select and fill only the significant forms for that type of transport.

Paragraph THE QUESTIONNAIRE ACCORDING TO THE FORM OF TRANSPORT contains suggestions on the forms to choose and fill according to the type of transport considered.

The 29 forms can be grouped into two main subjects:

  • survey forms concerning the service offered by companies operating public transport;
  • survey forms on accessibility of the infrastructure of the form of transport considered.

The survey of the service offered is carried out by interviewing a representative of the transport company.

The survey on accessibility of the infrastructure is carried out by visiting the place and directly acquire a series of data and measurements, together with a representative of the transport company.
