EVALUATION OF THE POINTS OF WEAKNESS AND STRENGTH OF THE PUBLIC TRANSPORT SYSTEM IN THE LOMBARDY REGION

In this section, by analysing data collected with our interviews and direct surveys, we tried to evaluate the points of weakness and strength of Lombardy’s public transport system as far as accessibility to disabled people is concerned.
This analysis enhanced all positive results attained but also the limits of the system and what is still to be done in order to make public transport really accessible to people with disabilities.
The analysis considered each form of transport separately.
